The Company
Construcciones Metálicas Muñiz Hermanos, S.L. was founded in 1983 and is one of the oldest custom metal fabrication workshops in Asturias.
With over 40 years of experience, we manufacture capital goods for the STEEL, PETROCHEMICAL, NAVAL, HYDROELECTRIC, and RENEWABLE ENERGY sectors, as well as for engineering companies operating at both national and international levels.
In 2008, we began our international expansion by establishing a subsidiary in Chile, Construcciones Metálicas Asturianas, S.p.A (Coastur), with facilities located in the city of Los Angeles, Bío Bío Region.
Since 2021, we have been part of GRUPO HIDROLENA, an independent renewable energy producer focused on small hydroelectric and photovoltaic plants, also exploring energy storage and green hydrogen as energy vectors.
GRUPO HIDROLENA is headquartered in Asturias and also operates in Chile.
